Windsor Community Orchestra

2022 Summer Concert

The orchestra at the concert

The Windsor Community Orchestra's Summer concert was held on the 7th July at Dedworth Green Baptist Church at 7:45 p.m. A varied programme, including some modern music, some classical and some in-between. Bach's Badinerie featured the flute section playing the lead.

The concert featured a few solos and small groups, including a string group that played some Hungarian dance tunes. The harmonies and stomping upbeats brought a little bit of Hungry to the hall.

We also allowed people to attend via Zoom, and have over 20 screens also listening to the concert, some from outside the UK.

As always with our concerts, they are free to attend but we do hold a voluntary donation for charity. This year, the supported charity is Dementia UK. Over £360 was raised for this worthy cause.
